I'm sure we've all had Edamame in a Japanese restaurant. It's delicious, simple, and classic. But of course, being me, I always like to find twists to fancy-up a classic dish into something a little different, but still authentic. My edamame recipe is going to make your guests "hate" you, because they won't be able to eat just one! Here is my Pet-Bo* that will make your friends and family crave this tasty, healthy, and low-carb snack!
Ingredients:
- Frozen Edamame x 1 bag
- Sea Salt x 1-1.5 tsp ( or to taste )
- Black Pepper x 1 tsp ( or to taste )
- Garlic x 1-2 cloves
- Sesame Oil x 1.5 tbsp
Recipe:
-
In a big mixing bowl, put in the sesame oil, sea salt and grated garlic, and mix well.
-
Bring a pot of water to boil, sprinkle some salt, then blanch the edamame for 1-2 mins.
-
Strain the edamame out into the big mixing bowl with all the mixed seasoning.
-
Sprinkle some more sea salt and black pepper, then stir well and serve!
